It still amazes me the number of guys I see unloading a bulk tanker with no hearing protection. I know with our trucks and trailers, the blowers are very loud, and so is the trailer itself.
Dennixx and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
Place I'm delivering at right now always had the velcro straps on their hose. Til today. Some AH driver stole them. They handed me a roll of paper masking tape. Now I've used duct tape and am ok with that, but not the paper crap. I pulled a couple velcro straps out of my stash and will leave them here.Flat Earth Trucker, Crude Truckin', REO6205 and 2 others Thank this.

Our blowers are pretty loud, but they get crazy loud when the melt plug blows out.Crude Truckin' Thanks this.

Thank you. I was just pricing them a bit earlier this morning and the shipping cost for four of them was about the same as the locks. I'll compare with the link you provided.

2" x 18" hook and loop straps (Velcro) are $2.18 each at JJKeller.com plus shipping
They also have longer sizes.Crude Truckin' and REO6205 Thank this. -
I’ve used both the Velcro straps & I’ve got a bunch of the plastic locks. I personally prefer the Velcro, I just felt more secure using them.
RockinChair, Crude Truckin' and slim shady Thank this. -
You’re not wrong. Velcro straps are more secure. But I’m lazy and I use clips.RockinChair Thanks this.
