I'm a person who works out a lot and takes some workout supplements. I take ECA stacks irregularly and take creatine regularly. I've heard horror stories from people who take workout supplements who have failed drug tests due to showing dirty for amphetamines.
I'll just stop taking all supplements if I have to, but I'm looking for truckers who have experience with this who can tell me what they can incorporate into their healthy lifestyle while on the road, and what I should absolutely not take. Thanks.

ive taken protein supps and creatine and never failed,if you you come back positive for something you get to dispute the test.just tell the drug testing comp what you take after a positive and they ll test you again i think.creatine and MRPs and protein shouldnt set off any buzzers.

Any questions you have about your DOT drug testing you should ask a DOT Doctor. My respect to the forum members here but I doubt anyone here is a certified MD. Take your questions to someone who can be called up in your defense if you get a positive result. I would tell the doctor all your supplements you take or might take and have him give you a response on his offices letterhead.

If you fail a drug test, it also costs to have a new one done. And do not fail to make sure you have it done so it does not get turned in as a drug fail which will go on your DAC.

Someone in this thread told me they take creatine and always pass with no problems, so I have my answer. Still don't know about the ECA but it's not important, I'll just not take it. And I love tasty cakes so I'll take a lot of those.

I could tell you I'm Brad Pitt too but that doesn't mean it's true. lol As someone stated, I'd contact an actual doctor or a facility that administers UAs. Take the advice of professionals not a post from someone on the internet who may have never taken a UA in his life. No disrespect to whoever posted the reply earlier but seriously.....this isn't a common sense question about trucking or a mechanical issue etc... A false positive UA resulting over vitamins or supplements wouldn't be a joke. At least not the consequences.
