“Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned the sentence“ I’m sure the Chinese are quaking in their boots.

.....or whatever their definition of "high-fiving" is.
They executed some Philippine citizens and the President of the Philippines said, "Well, when you're in China, obey their laws."

Since he was arrested and sentenced to jail 4 years ago it looks like China is going to murder him unless Canada releases Meng.

It’s not like the gent was in prison for trying to carry around a bag of weed. He was trying to smuggle over a million dollars worth of meth. This isn’t Chinese overreach imo, they spared him by only giving him 15yrs to start worth.

US is overreaching by ordering the arrest and extradition of a Chinese CEO, who was not on American soil, based on a presumed violation of sanctions.

Had they been selling military equipment and munitions to Iran we might be able to complain, but they were selling cellphones. Cellphones.... And we arrest the CEO of the 2nd largest cellphone manufacturer in the World.

Why haven’t we tried to arrest all the Chinese boat captains who were selling crude oil to North Korea??? That was a more severe sanction violation imo, as they were providing a true resource needed for military equipment movement.

What happens if we murder Meng?

The Chinese did let this guy off light for the meth charge. Pretty sure in Canada that's a 25 year sentence.

    When in Rome ...
Yup, you have to obey the local laws.
This guy is far from innocent, he has several prior convictions here in Canada. He was just branching out his profit potential internationally.

Let’s see if Trudeau has a spine now ;) Maybe he’ll go to a high level meeting wearing traditional wedding garments. :D
