WorldNav GPS

The last time I checked on the WorldNav, it had a bad chip in it which caused the screen to freeze up. I heard Teletype was working on fixing this problem, of course there are other models to choose from with WorldNav, but I think they are way to costly................Now, I do have the new PC Miler Navigator 430....my experiance with it is.................ALK has put something out on the market that is not ready, I've had trouble with the unit not charging. Up to 45% of the addresses I have entered have come back as " address not found". ALK's answer to this problem is.." send an email to our data team and we will update those adresses". No way, I'm not getting paid to test their GPS unit. This is what ALK has done, put this unit out on the market for the consumers to fix. I have an older version of PC Miler on my laptop " version 18.0, and it found most all of the adresses. And the hazmat routing, well don't trust it. I will be looking into getting a refund, which is a whole different story in itself...........Keep ya posted.

 

Don't buy the PC Miler Navigator 430, it has serious issues.
