A buddy got one and we gave it a try......SLOW. We put in a route from Springfield, MO to my house in TN......with my Co-Pilot Truck 6 running on my Dell PDA it takes about 15 seconds or less to have the route, directions, and all done. It took his unit over 5 minutes to figure the route. We also ran around town in his truck......and it had problems keeping the satellites fixed..... Yeah, it's big....easy to read....but, I need something that will re-route me in a few seconds....not minutes. The Teletype unit did come with an external antenna that plugs into the unit. But, my I-Blue 737 Bluetooth GPS never even leaves the sleeper. We just keep it back there laying on a shelf......and it is DEAD ON accurate. I'd wait for the Co-Pilot unit. Plan on checking it out when they come out.....should have already been here.....######!
