Wal-Mart sells a Coleman rain suit that is 2 pieces top and bottom and works good. Check the camping department

Depending on your location, Harbor Freight sells a 2 piece set for less than $20.

I agree with JIMROY. When it comes to rain gear it's worth shelling out some good dough for it. Not only because of tear but also for breathable materials. With the cheap stuff you might as well of stood in the rain after all the sweat.

The key to good rain gear is that it is breatheable.

Cheap stuff makes you sweat so bad you're better off getting rained on.

Helly Hansen or Carhartt. As the others have said, make sure it is breathable. I wear Carhartt, and am looking to buy another soon.

I have a breathable set of pants that I use for chaining. Also a cheap pair of clip-on suspenders makes the pants stay up better than the drawstring.
