Has anyone mentioned the Governor Harry Nice Bridge on US 301 over the Potomac River? Long, tall, and skinny!

Was drilled and packed, they were just waiting for the command. Drill holes are still there. My son has worked on Conowingo Dam,and the next big dam north,Holtwood Hydroelectric. Was the master mechanic on their multiyear power house expansion job.

HA. THAT one used to have a scales, a truck stop and so on. It was a alternative in bypassing DC. That's NOT that skinny.

IF you want skinny try the Owenboro KY across the Ohio River into Indiana 10 miles south of Rockport as the crow flies.

I visited dam with pa around 73-74 into the power house. I recall the elevator. As a little smell to it believe it or not. I don't usually take memories in that form. However I was presented with the working turbines pulling power from the waters that day. All that tonnage nice and quiet. Pa was a drafts man in the gas company until he got too expensive and took a pension. (Ugh) Computers does his work now. Shrugs.
