One of the very first threads to appear on this site was on JB Hunt, started by our founder.dwells40, jon69 and Dale thompson Thank this.

Any link? I can't seem to find it..

I worked for JB from 1999 to 2004, thought they were decent. Always made good money. I was on dedicated contracts though. OTR sucked, did it for 3 months.

All that was written 7-10 years ago, I doubt if any of it is valid today.
With more than 18000 trucks and 21000 drivers Im sure there are more than a few that 'fall through the cracks'.
90% of the negative stuff you see posted is probably from that group. -
Rarely does a leopard change its spots.
I'm sure they're still good for the old "bait and switch" they suckered me with 20 years ago.racemaxx24, Dale thompson, Bumper and 2 others Thank this. -
They still try to call me to see if I’m interested in doing local intermodal work near my home. The problem is I get paid much more doing OTR at my current exhalted place of work(and the truck is faster, lol).

I was going to go with them on a dedicated Dallas to Houston and back daily run back in 2002. After I got to orientation, the recruiter told me I lived too far from the terminal to get that run, by 3 miles. Told he was putting me otr until something became available. I said goodbye, though not exactly that nice. They will never change.
