We have hauled for them a few times. Always deal with college kids. The last two loads they would not give the address or time because, they wanted to wait until the last minute trying to find someone to haul it cheaper. Cancelled last two and will not haul for them again.

You know what really ticks me off about all these blasts against TQL and some other brokerages?

I've been struggling for a month now as a new broker to find just one customer to move just one load, offering them top notch service with quality carriers, and here these guys are with so many customers, playing with their shipments like its some game to be played.

"Oh, well we'll just let the load sit a little longer until we find some poor stupid foreigner with a crap truck to take this on the cheap, rather than get our customers' load covered with time to spare in case something goes wrong. And if the customer complains, or the load is late, well all we have to do now is blame it on the trucking shortage, and we'll laugh all the way to the bank!"

It's almost as if TQL is glad for the shortage, because now they have an excuse to charge their customers more, and also an excuse for their poor customer service.

That's NOT how you treat a customer, whether you're a broker, 3PL, or even a carrier on a brokered load.

It really ticks me off how these idiots get away with this when there are quality, honest people out there who take their customers seriously, and not for granted, who do a great job and could really use the business.

    End of rant.

Personally never had a problem with TQL. In fact i prefer to work with TQL over some smaller broker. Plus consistent 28 day pay!

Wow. Are you serious? I'm not sure what small broker you're talking about but all mine pay on time, pay an above average rate to the point negotiations aren't even necessary, and the load is where the post says it is. None of the monkey ####### around with bogus addresses and I'll give you the right one just as soon as I know I can't get it done any cheaper bs. I guess some people just don't know what bad is cuz it's all they know.

I've heard drivers mention this? But as a O/O, you agree to take a load based on info givin, only yo find that the info is incorrect , isn't this a breach of contract? Don't take the load unless compensated ! I have done just that in the past

Loss of time dealing with such liars like TQL, you wont make any money and waste your time, fuel and drivers time as well, they will never change. Every single time i hauled for them i lost money. TQL never pays the agreed rate. Funny thing is they stay quiet about all the BS until the load is delivered safley to the customer then TQL starts negotiating all over again after the clean BOLs have been signed by their customers. Seems like for these guys sky is the limit. NEVER AGAIN DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH TOTAL QUALITY LOGISTICS

If you are that PO'ed with them, why not go ahead and solicit their customers directly ... ? Or is this a case of customers you may not want?

I've never had any broker try to renegotiate a rate after a load has been delivered.
