Yeah it really isn't. I used to have my old company that I was leased to, I had their name in my signature line. People leave other clues. I made comments here years ago about them and they called BigBadBill about it. He told them his drivers have a right to their own opinions and that was that.

As for why some brokers post loads in distant cities -- it gets them more calls. It is annoying, but there are trucks doing the same thing.
My overall take: TQL has tons of loads. Many are cheap, some are OK, and a few are excellent. But TQL itself is relatively easy to work with once you learn their quirks (rate con vs dispatch sheet, which loads require frequent check calls, etc). And these days I especially appreciate the fact they're never late on pay.
I just wish they were like XPO or Coyote in that you can use one dependable agent over and over to book any TQL load rather than playing Cincinnati roulette.Oscar the KW, fordconvert, whoopNride and 2 others Thank this. -
TQL is like making a deal with the Mexican drug cartels. You can say yes, there some bad ones out there but some very good one's too.
They will burn you and they don't care.
I'm taking about lie to you about shipments, to collection, to filing insurance claims on your policy.
You'd be better off trusting a drug dealer.fcdc Thanks this. -
I've got one for ya.
Did a load for TQL like a 2 years ago. It paid well, about 3.25 per mile on an overnight trip, the gross was $2000. Fast forward to today. Get a call about a short load starts and ends in same province/state as the 3.25 load long ago. It is just a border hop load, 15 miles. He expected me to do it for the same 3.25 per mile. He was trying to sell it to me by doing the math out loud and I told him that isn't how it works. He got angry with me because I didn't take it.
Life is much easier not dealing with TQL.6wheeler Thanks this.
