I do Chicago on a weekly basis, multi-stop. The only hang up I've had, is the meat market area, especially around lunch time, forget it. NYC I did for almost three years, yanking a flat bed with Verizon cable reels. Not bad over all, Manhatten can be a pain, Brooklyn and Queens have the worst roads imaginable, Bronx usually wasn't bad, other then the pre 1900 buildings you had to back into, or line up to an old rail car door, a lot of tight spaces to get threw. West Coast, LA just sucks, period. Atlanta traffic will give you gray hairs quick. I'd have to say the worst place I had to deal with, was running around the New York country side, Milton area, chasing down a mutiplel pick up apple load. Skinny roads like Philly, nothing made for 65 feet or more of vehicle. C&S warehouses period, the biggest joke going.

New york city sucks due to bad directions and one way traffic low bridges etc, chicago I never been but heard alot of low clearance are there, and I had the lovely dis pleasure of taking a load to philadelphia the streets are narrow and it costs an arm and a leg on the pike. Not to mention bad directions. Hope this helps and that's just a tip of the iceberg of what us truckers deal with.
