    technically then, the plazas are on the west va turnpike, I-77 , there is another one on the southern end north of Princeton that has a huge amount of truck parking. you should have ran that turnpike when it was 2 lane, from that perspective I have no complaints, we used to call it the ho chi minh trail

    The new ones on I-95 in CT. Obviously trucks were the least thing they thought of when they laid them out.

    I-78 in west NJ, spent millions on new weigh stations that are almost never open with a huge parking deck,,,

    NOPE can't park there when closed, so let's cause a safety issue by overflowing the rest area a mile away.
    Rigs park on the shoulder up to a 1/2 mile up from the end of the ramp, and it's followed by a two mile climb.
    I don't even risk running the right lane at night.
    Anybody pulling out of those "parallel parking spaces," isn't going to see the high side of 30mph for 5 minutes.

    for the record, are we talking;
    "Travel Plazas" (state owned areas with services)
    "Rest Areas", (no food, no fuel, MAYBE a toilet) or
    "Truck Stops" (privately owned businesses with "food", parking and a store)

    Exit 45 just south of the US-19 exit. Seemed pretty nice but only stopped there twice to make a 30 minute sandwich. Kind of a long way off the freeway. Never went past the fuel island restrooms on foot. Time permitting I keep the doors shut thru WV.
