Worst truck stop you have been to

Denim NM! And a truck stop in NJ that has a bunch of cats running all over the parking area for the trucks. The cats where the only thing good going for the place. If I ever go back, it will be to soon !!!

 

Pilot at exit 109 on I74 in Indiana. Always packed full of reefers waiting to get into the cold storage place next door. It's a pain in the tail to get fuel or take a 30. On the other hand, it is also next to a casino and horse track. I've bought everything from tarps to headsets to cbs from broke drivers that played one too many hands at the blackjack table.

Saw one worse than that in Nashville at a truck stop; several of us standing in front of one of the trucks talking. Some driver came in with a hitch hiker female he said he picked up somewhere, not too bad looking either. While he was inside the truckstop she pooped in the parking lot in front of everyone. When she and the driver left, the other drivers kept staring at what she left; she was more normal than the drivers.

 

Anyone remember the old Flying J fuel stop in Great Falls MT? And the smoke filled restaurant next door with the- brown from the smoke walls?

 

Flying J, Kansas City, MO. Awful small for the area, lots and lots of lot lizards, and people knocking on your door all night. Whenever I have to stay in KC, I go to the Ameristar Casino.

 

That'd be the Drivers Travel Mart... food's OK there--or was, anyway. I haven't been in there in a coon's age.

 

Reckon that'd be in Wheatly, AR.

 

The one in Mass was either the Interstate Travel Plaza in Wrentham, north on US1 from I-495, or the Plainville Truck Stop in Plainville, south on US1. Probably the one in Plainville, judging from the description

 

Lets see..worst truckstop? Hmmm.......I guess it had to be Rubes over in Jersey city many years ago..
