I've got 4 off the top of my head:

#1 Loves in Albuquerque, NM If you look at the Loves web site it says "15 parking spots", when in reality the do NOT have ANY parking or showers.

#2 The loves 45 minutes east of Amarillo, TX on I-40 (i cant think of the town) they have 10-15 parking spots VERY tight and NO SHOWERS

#3 Pilot in Tuscola, IL. What a POS of a truck stop, you have to BACK off the CAT scale back almost onto the 4 lane 55mph rd to get off the scale because there is parking spots 10 feet in front of it, all spots are VERY tight to get in/out of and you cant get to it from the south side of the road.

#4 TA in Hudson, WI. Tight parking, they did just put all new pumps in though.

I guess if you park two deep in each fuel pump plus in that area to the side, that might be 15 spots!:biggrin_2559:

Flying J only becomes tight when there's multiple rows. That back half of the last row of back-to-back spots always becomes near impossible.

Another nominee for worst is the TA in Southington, CT. I'm there regularly and it's amazing how inconsiderate other drivers are. First, some of the spots are tight, but many have a lot of room to setup and back in. The problem is after 6pm, truckers just start taking any open patch of asphalt and claiming it for the night. This presents a huge problem if you leave really early in the morning or very late at night. So, you have to plan to park in an area that you can't be blocked into.

Earle, AR is similar with that lot near the highway. So many truckers will park in that open section between the three sides to the point you can't get out. I had to bang on two trucks to get them to move so I could leave one night at midnight/1am or so. The first guy took out the hood of the second guy trying to leave. So, I was stuck there for another hour waiting for the situation to be hashed out. Then, realized I still needed the guy who just lost part of his hood to move so I could make my escape.

Seen that last time I was stopped there last week and was beginning to think they had painted lines there because of how many trucks were parked in the middle.
The pilot at exit 4 on I-74 in Covington, IN is another tight place, glad I only stopped to weigh my load but that was still bad enough. Almost ended up leaving without my scale ticket, calling that place a madhouse would have been being nice.

City ordinance ... they don't enforce it and Pilot don't care.

Glad they try to squeeze in up front. I've always found plenty of parking on the other side by the garage. What's funny is the walk isn't that much further.

Pilot ,here in Charlotte NC.REAL SMALL & CROWDED 24/7 !!!!! I don't even bobtail there to fuel. To scale a load out of here I go to exit 16B on 77.It's a small independent t/s .in fact I haven't fueled in NC in months. I'll fuel either VA or SC on the way back home. cheaper
If your coming to Charlotte, there are 2 real small t/s, stop before you get here !!!!!! I-85N,I-77N, stop in SC.
