Thanks. Thats what i called everyone i served with who wanted to use M16s instead of muskets like i was still trying to use. Silly me, i pulled the wool over my own eyes and didnt understand.

 

Give it a few months, HOS rules will be adjusted. Just give me back my sleeper, and I am good. I travel so few miles this is just a joke. But my schedule is all over the map. Plenty of rest here... My APU has more hours than my motor.

How so? Is it not an advancement in technology? Is an eld not an advancement from paper? Please tell me its a conspiracy by the illuminati to log where all truckers are and prevent them from doing whatever they want. Pleeeeease tell me that elds are the eviliest thing on earth today.

 

I honestly think hos changes are coming. Obvious it won't be next week, nothing happens in Washington fast, but it is coming. I also honestly believe it wasn't happening until elogs were in the vast majority of trucks. As evident in every thread about elogs, way to many were all to willing to willfully violate hos. They would be just as willing if the hos allowed more flexibility.

 

I wonder if it goes beyond hos. Like not reporting ifta miles, not reporting all loads hauled... why else would so much hell be raised unless now you have to be legal on more than one front. Idk. Just a thought.
