We weren't told which way to go either. What I'm saying is watch the obvious routes. Check your atlas for these things on the obvious routes.

I noticed in my atlas in the sections it talked about low clearance locations that they were a few bridges in Georgia that a truck couldn't get under that weren't listed just saying

driving for 7 hours then taking a break an driving for 2 hours more I am just trying to get in all the driving I can in a day and I thought that anytime your doing something on duty like pre trip fueling etc u had to log it as on duty not driving keep in mind I'm just a student in school I still have a lot to learn which I'm sure will come when I'm actually on the road doing driving with a trainer/mentor after all there are there to help you learn and make sure you doing it right aren't they

overall think ya did fine. it'll get screwed up anyway when ya have a flat and have to sit on the side of the road for @ 4 hours waiting on road service to come out.

here's the issue with driving for 7 hours. remember that cup or two of coffee or that can of Monster you drank? no? we'll you will in @ 4 hours or so.. just saying. and your right you have to log your fueling. just that the actual act of putting fuel in your truck shouldn't take an hour so no need to log all that as on duty not driving.

and your def right that once out on the road your trainer should be showing ya all of this and more. like i said, on paper everything looks good. your instructor shouldn't hassle ya over any of it.

Easiest way to do military time, if it's before noon it's 1200 or less. ( 9 am is 0900 ). If it's after noon add 12. ( 2 pm is 1400)

Your pre-trips are too long (7-8 minutes)
    Your post-trips are non-existent (7-8 minutes)
You should plan on being at each stop for 2 hours. It may take 30 minutes to load you, but it'll take a few minutes to back in, check in, and wait for them to get around to loading you. This is assuming you're not touching the freight.
If you need 640 gallons of fuel to go 3000 miles you won't be in a job long. Your truck will probably only hold 200-250 gallons anyway -- I wouldn't plan on adding more than 170 gallons and worst-case you're looking at 6mpg hauling dry van (less idling -- figure 1 gal/hour idling if it is extremely hot or cold)
