Would employers discriminate against an applicant who's just gone through bankruptcy?

    i know when my husband did a lease with riverside transport they did not run a credit but they do run mvr and dac

    I think a lot of companies don't run credit checks another reason is a lot of states made it a law they couldn't take into affect your credit to refuse you a job like my state Illinois

    Like most are saying bad credit will not hurt getting a job. What it will hurt, and you didn't say either way so I'm guessing, is that if you want company paid training to get your CDL you might have trouble then.

    Why would they? Half the trucking companies out there are a few big accidents away from being bankrupt themselves.
