I know that my concern is the future... Would I be able work driving commercial vehicles again or I should hang up my CDL???

I see this and agree. However I seem to want to remember most states do suspend a license for at least one year. Some allow a restricted license or having that equipment installed. I am not sure why the FMCSA seems to have RG that is in direct contradiction to those tables.

After the year suspension is complete, just start over and get your cdl again and hit the road.

    I believe it.

I was raised there unfortunately. (Or fortunately depending on your views...)

Well. You might apply for some sort of hardship. But frankly one year is nothing against your life time future and possibly staying out of jail.

I remember the no logbook option. There was another, if a mistake was found within last 7 days you had one chance to correct. I handed over a log that was pretty much BS to Memphis west scales one night. They tossed it back and said fix it. You got 10 minutes. Since they did not even look at it very close, I disposed of a load and managed to crayon in the resulting conserved hours. They let me out.
