Yes, attend CDL school.
Some, but very few will hire you.
For those local jobs you will have to go knock on doors.
Carolina Cargo might hire you for OTR, but the pay is low, about $800.00 a week.
Carolina Cargo doesn't go to Canada which is to your benefit because you won't be allowed into Canada with your record of drugs and speeding tickets; yes, Canada checks truck drivers at the border for this.

 

I think with the demand for truckers you might have a chance. Since it was your friends you didn't know about and the cop decided to charge both of you. explain that to them, and I think there might be a chance you might a company to over look it. But your definitely not going to have job offers thrown at you.
