Would not give Cypress Truck Lines the time of day

I recently lost my job with Cypress Truck Lines. On Jan 28,2014 I was caught up in the very bad weather in Alabama. Roads were very icy and everyone was going slow, traffic was stop and go. At one point everyone stopped but my truck decided not to. It went sideways, I pulled it back around, saw an opening in the median, aimed for that missing all 4 wheelers around. Truck tipped over into median. Load on flatbed stayed intact. There was no accident report and I did not get a ticket. Cypress sent me home on a 5 day suspension while they investigated (cameras are in there trucks). I also did a drug test. I could not get all of my belongings out of the truck as I had to take a bus home and had to pay for extra luggage to the tune of $102.00. After 5 days, I didn't hear anything so I called and was told that they had not looked at the video yet and therefore had not made a decision on anything. After 10 days, I called again still getting the same run around but I was also informed of the cost of towing and freight being destroyed. Mind you, freight was intact until tow truck came to upright truck. They cut straps, removed tarp, and set freight down in the snow to walk on (freight was drywall). So, that being said, I did not damage freight or incur any other charges. And I did not hit anyone! I was told not to call back that they would call when they made a decision. In the meantime I started looking for other work. I finally found out that I was no longer employed when a) I had to use health insurance for my son and it had been cancelled and b) could not get another driving job because Cypress said I had a rollover and they terminated me. All they have done is lied. I was never told I was no longer employed with them and no notice of insurance cancellation. To top it off, they sent me a bill of $700.00 + dollars and they still have my belongings. I need to know what recourse I have legally and what to do about the report they have falsely made. Any help would be appreciated. Just had a thought-better check my DAC report because if they put it on there, it will be a false report. Thanks everyone for listening via email.
