Would The Fall/Winter Be The Best Time To Obtain Your CDL?

I got my license in December / January here in Texas. I was thankful it wasnt summer because the trucks dint have AC in em. I got to get trained that spring, so got several months driving experience BEFORE we ended up in the snow and bad weather the following winter. My partner was from Louisiana so neither one of us had squat experience driving in snow.
I had some pucker moments, but made it thru the winter in one piece -

 

No it is NOT his responsibility to teach you to drive. You SHOULD HAVE learned that in school. As stated, given that some trainers have minimal experience now as it is, what is to say the screwed up trainer ever did any winter time driving?

Given how you stated something in your other thread about your g/f and other things, you just ain't got the nads to be a driver.

 

You're willing to put your 'aspiration' on hold due to the possibility of bad weather....Dont even bother

No we read you just fine. Clear you wont make it. What "tips" do you think your going to get for winter driving from a trainer? Go slow.

 

It seems as though your g/f wears the pants and gave you an ultimatum regarding you and driving.

so yeah, you don't have the nads. As MAN, YOU say what goes on.
