    If I had the means and funds to buy my own truck you bet I would. But being lpo and contract almost done if I was away and came back to trucking would I go lpo again nope. To hard, stress, etc..

    if you have the means do it, if lpo, stay company til you have the means to do it

    Getting into trucking in the first place? In 2014 - hell no! If it was 1984 again - hell yes!

    Buying my own after graduating a 10 year 'Road Scholar' - In 2014 - nope, in 1995 - yup.

    Too many other opportunities for a talented individual nowadays with the internet and all.

    The only problem is that this dam trucking gets in your blood and it's hard, if not impossible, to shake.
