Would you give away a shower?

I have always coughed up a shower. Dont care what your circumstance is. That shower is bought and payed for, and yet Ive had clerks give me the "stink eye" when I offer one up to those flashing cash. BTW, Im forced to fuel at Pilot/J and my co is prominent enough that the showers dont fall off. And yet I still prefer to shower at Petros and willingly pay $13 regardless of the Pilot credits...

 

Yep. Given plenty away. And if you are showering anyway then go to the desk and get a team shower. You are helping and not using up a credit.

 

I have given them away to other drivers when asked.
Company I drive for pretty much only fuels at PFJs. So I don't have a shortage of showers there.


I will only give away Showers to other drivers though.


Well not like anybody ever asks anyway...
I have prolly only given away 3-4 total.
Because nobody ever really asks.

 

currently have 4 unused/wont be used credits on my card. I keep a lookout when I use the restroom after fueling. I had the opportunity to give one away once. Driver had cash in hand ready to fork it over. Clerk didnt bat an eye. Swiped my card on her register and everyones happy.

 

Given them away many many times. . Homeless. . Drivers. .etc

I was at a TA and needed a shower. .I got to the desk, reached in my pocket to get my money. .a driver behind me all but tackled me. . He got out of line, went back to his truck for his card and gave me a shower. .(I really couldn't afford the shower. Just starting out and working for slave wages)

I have been paying him back ever since.

Quick shout out to the guy who gave me a shower credit today. Flying J off of I 244 around Tulsa Ok. I didn't get who you drive for but if you read this thanks again.

 

I generally have 10+ credits on my card. If someone asks I am more than happy to let then have one. There are times I have asked for one and never had any one say no. Heck I have even offered them to perfect strangers in the cafe. Never had a taker but they usually get the point.
