Maybe not notice a little scrub on a 53' trailer while going forward but I can not see that on a smaller truck. How ever some people never feel anything like dragging two tires with the brakes locked up, on an empty trailer, in tell they blow out. Thanks to everyone on your experience and I will share a bit of mine. In an article written, about on road safety, in Progressive Farmer or a simular Ag. mag., never give hand signals except left and right or stop. That was based upon common causes of accidents. Drive by the law and do not do iffy stuff to be courteous. That did not say to be an ### but just to protect yourself by staying out of those situations.
Personal experience is people here usually do not even know those signals. Pulling a farm wagon with a triangle in a no passing zone, while giving a left turn hand signal, cars will more often than not jump out to pass. I know jerks have to be dealt with on a regular bases but take care of your selves and be safe.
Would you know if you hit something in a truck?
