    NO....never nowadays
Unless in a life threatening situation and then only after the proper authorities have been informed.
    Too many crazed dogs

I do not think this will be much of a study. Nobody in their right mind, myself included, would do that.

I picked up a dude with a blown tire at a rest stop at o dark thirty and brought him 2 miles to a garage. That's my brownie points.

I gave a ride to this guy that I saw getting left at a gas station by his woman.

Dunno what he did didn't bother to ask but he said he'd give me 50 bucks if I dropped him off about 15 exits down.

I saw him getting chewed out and was laughing like dammmmm. I didn't take his money I just told him to go on.

I do all the time. I refuse to leave someone on the side of the highway.

    Bless your heart.
Although it's pretty much against the law if you don't have passenger insurance.
    But, bless you nevertheless.

No sir! You never who you’re picking up. 9 times out of 10 you’ll most likely be fine but there’s that chance you’ll pick up a wacko.
