I might if I knew they for sure needed help. If I was following someone and they broke down or blew a tire I might stop and offer to help, give ride, etc.
If they’re just sitting there with their thumb up there’s no way I’d consider it. I value my life too much I guess.BigBob410 Thanks this. -
One company I drove for didn’t even have a passenger seat. Unless the hitchhiker wanted to hang on to the side of the truck, hop on!

Driving truck is a new experience in order to do a study. Always believe experiencing yourself before claiming or making something right.LightninMcQueen001 Thanks this.

Exactly. I’ve given rides to people in distress but only ever picked up one hitchhiker in a commercial vehicle. She apparently got dumped on the side of the road by a dude she wouldn’t “get with” she couldn’t have been out there long. She was dressed well and pretty. I dropped her off a few exits up just to get her to a safe spot.Dino soar, OldeSkool and Pamela1990 Thank this.

Ok, so youd have like a 1 in 1 million chance that the person is a serial killer. Big deal.TripleSix, Pamela1990 and Oxbow Thank this.
