Would you pick up a hitchhiker on your way?

I couldn't help myself. It reminded me of a Penthouse Forum letter from "back in the day". Anybody under the age if 40 has no idea what Penthouse Forum is..... Internet porn has ruined EVERYTHING!! LOL

 

I picked up a lady and two little kids one night. They'd broke down, it was raining, and we didn't have cell phones then.
I gave them a ride into town, found a phone booth, and stayed there while she called her husband and waited for him to show up.
Another of our trucks saw me do all this and he dimed me with the company. PIE had a lot of those kind.
The same day my warning letter for carrying an unauthorized passenger came in I got a letter from the PR department thanking me for giving the lady and kids a ride. I guess she called every one of our terminals until she found out who gave her the ride and wrote a nice letter of thank you to PIE.
I figured each letter cancelled out the other.
And yeah, I'd do it again.

 

Did the d bag benefit from his d bagishness? In my younger days...there would have been a "confrontation" involved in that situation.

 

Its ok....we all deny touching it! Yet...we do.

Sure why not? Ive been the one with the thumb out, and the one who gave a ride plenty of times.

 

Walk up smiling, grab him by the shoulders, and knee to the nuts as hard as you can.

 

And that’s how he met his end.

 

Company policy stipulated no passengers unless prior approval so had to turn down quite a few people, I would consider it, but one is taking a huge risk though.
