I’ve done empty i80.
It’s fun to pull into the far left lane. The climb out of Laramie towards Cheyenne. Doing 65 to 70. Blowing away all the loaded Supertruckers.
Would you pull an empty across I80 in Wyoming

In my first winter into WVa with a curtainside trailer on European 13 inch wheels back there step deck, We just allowed the snow to pile DEEP around the trailer tandems and just added horses to drag it. That way no matter how the winds whipped out the valley and rivers against us on the side the pile of snow around the tandems back there kept us down. It got easier once we gained weight from icing. A few thousand pounds of that does wonders.Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -
I've done it twice. Once I had to park it due to wind. Fortunately it was only a 5 hour delay. The other time I passed through without problem.
Travelling west from Dallas I prefer to use I40 and then travel north. If I am travelling from Indianapolis I don't have much choice.Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -
Sure Wyoming gets some serious wind, so do a lot of other states, or regions. Maybe not as constant as Wyoming, but just as bad. If you drive them, what’s the problem with Wyoming?

We need sign petition to Government to order Elon Musk to dig tunnel thru Wyoming. California and Chico can wait.
