    You would be surprised at how many companies use these type people. Some companies have tried it and saw the obvious entrapment by some of these companies. FedEx tried it for a short time then saw it was a crock and got rid of it. The company tried to write me up for doing 70 in a 70. FedEx ripped it up. FedEx has clearly stated that they will not do it again. There are other companies that do hire these people. I have always wondered if these people get paid like red light cameras get paid if they give you a violation. I will say some of these drivers need to be watched for the crap they do like pulling off the shoulder from a dead stop right in front of you, jumping in the hammer lane going 60 when you are fixing to pass them doing 70 (as long as they don't get slowed down forget everyone else), following too close (I saw a truck yesterday that was a whopping 10-15 ft behind the truck in front of him no way he could see what was coming), drivers weaving in and out of traffic and so on. It might help some of them out if they thought someone was watching.
