Spokane drop yard, have a pick up at 1500 in the same complex as the terminal.....going to the infamous CAVES in Missouri!

Sitting here at Furniture Traditions in Santa Ana, CA. for a live load truckload to take to the terminal for an OTR to deliver somewhere...I was told by someone to "bring a newspaper" as they take forever to load. So far, this is true. I've been here since 8am, it's now 1125am and the trailer is only half loaded...glad I'm on hourly pay today!

A totally beautiful day of driving thru some of the greatest scenery our country has to offer running from Montrose to Denver, CO...Even here in Denver it's so nice I've been walking around in a t-shirt!...The terminal is also one of the most efficient I have seen, I pulled into a dock and before I could turn in my trip envelope and find who to ask where I grab an empty, they had me unloaded so no need to unhook!...Also had my next trip on qualcomm before I even got to Denver, heading from Ft Collins(Anheiser Busch) to Sacramento, CA!...It's funny how I met a guy in Conover from CA that said he couldn't seem to get back west, now I can't seem to get back east!...Once this Xmas thing is over on the 16th, they NEED to find a way to make it happen, I want to go home!!!!!

I also thoroughly love the bountiful scenery in the West. That's why I bought a house in Montana about 70 miles south of Helena. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to go out there since the summer of '07. I miss it sooooooo much!

I think if I had to chain and unchain 8 times my opinion might vary! lol But since I didn't have to, it was just a magnificent ride!

I emptied out in Seattle yesterday and sent in my #11 and then my phone rings, it is RID "Hey I have a Win win for us both" I'm thinking ok here comes the screws.. so I asked what it was, he says "I need you to take the trailer you have down to Salem and drop it at a location and then bobtail back up to Lakewood and there will be a trailer of tires going down to SFS" I said fine no problem I can do that, so I'm headed down to Salem and I run acrossed the scales to fast and I listed that excitement here somewhere, so today I'm cruising the legal speed in Or. And I get passed by another W/S truck as we are approaching the same scale I got called into last night, so I'm watching the signs and he gets a by-pass and I have to scale AGAIN but this time I took my time and didn't speed acrossed the 3MPH scales..
it just isn't right. LOL
