Yep. Nice restaurant in there too if you are into some decent food. If you are waiting for a couple days, there is a neat little tavern over on Valley Blvd in Fontana called "Loretta's Lounge". Nice folks, kick back, play the jukebox, put down a few cold ones. But of course ONLY if you have a few days of down time.

 

They're just waiting on one part, the flywheel, to put it back together, should be today...I plan on asking them if I can use one of their tractors to go get my truck loaded since it's only 5 minutes from their shop(it's a hope and a dream I know but if I don't ask, I'll never know)...Then I'll have all weekend to get to Salem, OR...

 

Thats kewl. Yeah, I'd ask em, hell you never know! Maybe they'll put an employee on the truck with you to pickup? Definitely worth asking!

 

Shirley JUST called me, taking me off the load since I can't guarantee a pickup time ;-(

 

Update--------

The shaft was out of balence is what caused it to break where it did, the guy who pulled it said it was a matter of time, this is not "Driver error" I will be back up shortly.

 

Bummer, they can't take me off mine my truck is hooked to the trailer and I don't have a driveshaft in it..

 

Every dark cloud has a silver lining!!!!!!

 

I just hope they get it fixed in time to get a load before getting stuck here for the weekend...Only silver lining here is the awesome weather...

i hear that i went back and parked where i hid last night and went back to sleep, then 4 hours later i realized my 11 didnt send because there was no reception behind the building hahaha.
