Went a whole 50 miles today, now I'm stuck in North Platte, NE for at least 2 days until shop can check out truck, oil pressure is still low and it's blowing oil all over the place...It's 4f with wind making it feel like -10f, good thing the truck still runs!

What is it with the W/S trucks??? Seems like they are all breaking down lately. Is this common for W/S?

I swear if I never get another Safeway load I'll be a happy camper! Delivery appointment for 1630, got there at 1600. They called me to my door at 1630. 7 hours later they decide to unload me. What the hell is the point of having an appointment.

Anyhow, got empty and drove to San Jose and did a drop and hook, now have a load of tires going to Santa Fe Springs. Sitting at the Love's in Santa Nella finishing up my 10.

I think it's normal for any company to have issues when the trucks run ALL the time...I'm sitting out of being safe, it'll run, it just "may" blow up and lose the engine and better to be safe than sorry...Look at it this way, when something does go wrong, it gets fixed right away...If I was anywhere near a town with a population of more than 2000, I'd probably be having it worked on now, I just got unlucky to have it happen in the middle of nowhere in NE...

    AF461 Thanks this.

And I'm much luckier than the guy next to me, his rig is being hooked up to tow truck as I type...There's been more than a few towed out of here since I got here, last night put a hurtin' on a bunch of trucks apparently...

I'm sure it happens to most all companies, it's just that I read most of the W/S threads and seems like most of you have all had problems recently...
