WS drivers whats your 20

FJ in Post Falls, ID. loading up lumber in Missoula at 2pm tomorrow. Going to Denver.. That mexican restaurant nearby the FJ here is pretty good, especially after not eating at all today until now, heh.

 

Thanks TD24. I don't think I'll have the time to maintain a thread but I'll drop in from time to time to give updates. To be an o/o with w/s you have to have at least one year and a good safety record. It's a pretty involved process to get going but so far it's been worth the effort.

 

Some rest area North of Salt Lake City. Got a late start this am.....developed an air leak on the trailer, brakes wouldn't release. 3 hours later finally got someone out to replace half a canister.

 

Wow, the shop didn't give any other options of people to call? I normally call a few to see how long they wil be before they get to me, then call the fastest one back,
that is all I ask, and then tell them I will call them back.

I got a load over the weekend out of Bud going to Modesto and I called Buds hotkine number to chedk on the load, nope not ready yet. So I will sit in Denver till it is ready to go, no need to go sit up there...

 

I'll be headed to denver tomorrow morning...

wtf stealing all the denver loads when i want to go home?? haha. well they have me set up until tuesday but ive had nothing over 600 miles in the last couple weeks. dont care though, weathers been good. i got to go to delaware and add that to my list of states. that big ### bay bridge in md is awesome.

 

I always love going to Johnson's Corner.. they got some really good food there..

In Missoula now with a load going to Denver as well, heh. but mine is flat bed so I'm not stealin' any loads from anybody

 

I can't figure out why our dispatch@and the loaders dispatch can't get te loads lined up???? Bud doesn't want to load the trailers and then they sit, they give us an 8 hour window to arrive and get the load, I got here and then 6 more W/S trucks show up, some are preloaded some are not, some are waiting like me for a" liveload" whatever I sent LEB a QC stating if it is not ready at the latest for my pick up appointment tyat it will be late getting to my FIRM 0900 on Monday. Fair is fair.

 

That's odd I had an airleak on my trailer in Waller TX after I fueled at the Love's there. Was shut down for about 8 hours waiting to get fixed. Bad chamber. Sitting at T/S in Van Horn, TX

 

Shop gave me 2 numbers, wanted me to call the 1 first so I did.....and waited, and waited some more. Finally called the guy and got the run around so called the 2nd guy. He was there within 30 mins. Taylor Truck and Trailer Repair. Had me good to go in about 30 mins.

Helena Terminal with a load going to Colorado. Not to A/B this time though. Anyone else getting loads before you've sent your 11 on the load your on without asking for one? I've had loads lined up for the last 2 weeks! Not complaining mind you.
