Wow.. I don't even know where to begin for today, LOL..
Started out when they finally opened I-90 in South Dakota after the Blizzard. Made it about 3 hours east from Wall, SD and BAM! Super Single Blowout! Pulled the rig off immediately and checked the damage. Obviously tire was destroyed, but it also put th rim out of service. Called several different shops nearby and not a single place had both a rim and a tire to replace, so shop decided to have them bring out a set of duels, yes you heard me right, LOL. SO when I finally hit the road I running on 3 super singles and a set of duels on the truck... and they wan't me to wait until I get back to Missoula or SFS to have them replaced... hmmm

So I get back on the road heading East to Sioux Falls and about 70 miles down, the road turns into a skating rink for the last 50 miles into Sioux Falls, yippee! lol

When I do hit Sioux Falls the roads dry up and I'm back to 65mph... for about 30 miles into Minnesota when, you guessed it, another lovely skating rink.. only this time the crosswinds are howling from the North. I got 44k lbs on the deck and I can baarely keep the thing in a straight line, but do make it into Albert Lea for some fuel and food, an then back on the road heading south... dry roads at least.

So short story long.. I pulled off US18 in Mason City, IA. Just parked it on the onramp, no more stress for today

 

Hey there AXE.... sorry didn't have time to stop and bs for a few, but the time planned for this load is tight... as for where you where parked i thought it was some where between "Nowhere NV & I don't Know where NV" Keep it Safe!

i did my taxes. nothing fancy, next year will be the confusing one haha. getting a nifty little chunk back so im happy.

Sittin at QT truck stop in Lithia Springs, GA, got to destination at 3:30pm and was told they stop taking deliveries at noon, WTF?!??!...I'll be there at 8am when they start so I can get to 1pm load in Gainesville, GA going to NC...Beautiful weather here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was the night from hell, 5 hours from Cleveland to Columbus, OH in snow and ice...Worst ride since I've been driving...I will add the super singles drove GREAT in it, never lost traction!
