i want a new truck!

Shiftin showed up and will run me to the store so I don't starve this weekend...I was just googling pizza deliveries when he pulls in!

 

#1 good luck, you already have a newish truck with a APU AND a Bunk heater....only the cascaidias are better then that...

#2 There is a Subway right around the corner with a chinese resteraunt and some other resteraunt right next to it. its in that little plaza across from the Rite Aid or whatever it is... All within walkin distance, thats what I do when I'm there...

Newish truck? You're nuts!....It's an 05 and was dogged out before I ever saw it..Drawers don't work, the carpet is torn and loose, air powered seat doesn't work, arm rests are both missing, the APU has never worked and the windshield keeps breaking! ...Wanna trade?

They just bought some from Crete, 08 and newer, I want one of those!

 

mmmm ya no you dont.....Ask around from what I hear those trucks are even worse. lol



Well If I had your truck, I would just take it to a FL dealership and get a hotel room and relax until the truck is ALL fixed till then it wouldnt move....


dontcha worry once you get that 'ol dog fixed you wont mind it so much, look at chris he's spent TONS of time in the shop and now they'll have to pry that truck outta his dead fingers. Once you put some work into it you wont wanna let it go.


Trust me changeing trucks is allot of work, and I still dont have this truck set up the way I want it lol. I'm not very motivated when its cold, thats why i cant wait till Spring.......CHROME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a shiny truck!

I'd rather be earning with the wheels turning!...I can't stand sitting anywhere as I have very lil patience..

 

lol Your better off sitting for 3 days and get everything fixed, rather then keep breaking down and driving with low oil pressure... you could be makeing a problem worse...or creating another one lol

This issue is a no brainer, it sits until fixed...What sucks is it was in shop for 2 days over same issue a few weeks ago and now it's happening again after running like a champ from then until this morning...

 

ok soo whats happening? when the oil pressure is reading low...does the engine sound like crap? clacking around real loud ( louder then normal)?


Theres lots of stuff that can cause this:

Oil pressure gauge not working
Cloged oil filter
Cloged oil port
Broken Oil pump
low oil
Could be a computer issue
Clogged oil cooler
etc.

Nope, engine is even purring like a kitten right now, if I give it fuel, the STOP STOP STOP light comes on until I take foot of accelerator...No unusual noises whatsoever when running...Last time they changed the oil filter and it came back to life...What are the odds I got 2 defective filters in a row?...This one isn't 5000 miles old...I check the oil EVERY day and the sensor has been replaced twice in 2 mths...

 

what about when the gauge is reading low oil pressure? and all those lights are flashing does it still "purr" then or does it sound like crap?
