Knowing there weren't any, I just hooked to an empty that came in!

If you get here early enough, going to grab something to eat again would be nice!...I can't eat anything in that vending machine...Maybe we can get into that steakhouse!!!!...I'm good till then...Doing laundry now...After reading that other thread, I think I'll be ready to roll out as soon as the mechanics get here and change the filter again!...

Just kidding on the empty! :biggrin_2559: And thanks for being kind last night!

Getting some food at Petro in Fargo.. 34 reset done and need to be in lewistown for morning drop tomorrow, then over to shop to have them replace my set of duals with another super single, heh

I would highly suggest getting a mifi card from verizon, I get decent internet at about 99% of the spots I stop at.

i had a lame couple days, instead of getting a normal load out i had to repower a load up in the mountains from a driver that broke down. so i had to bobtail way up there, in the dark, and snow...no chains thankfully...got back at 1030, took 6.5 off which magically turned out to be 10 after i did my log hahaha because i had to do 2 drops starting at 6am.

pier 1. pure evil. do you guys ever do this ####?? first off neither of these stores were very truck accessible. camera was messed up or i would have a pic of me being 4 inches from taking out the corner of the bulding on the second one hahahaha.

thats not the bad part, unloading 8 &&^**((* thousands of little boxes by hand? are you effing kidding me? first stop took me 3 hours, 2nd drop about 1.5 with some help.

if you ever get a pier 1 load, it will probably be easier to just go sell your body until you make enough to start your own trucking company so you can never do a pier 1 load. the stupid thing is i got none of the miles and all of the bs. will they pay me for the unload?
im putting it in as driver unload...it was mostly just to the end of the trailer, but like i said i did over 4 hours of manual labor and my back is still dead and its not even 300 miles otherwise...im hoping i can get paid for it :biggrin_2552:

i did get an ok load out, trying my best to hide from snow. #### wyoming and the wind blowing it everywhere even when its not snowing didnt help though.

Pier 1's are $40 for multiple drops, $55 for a single drop. I've only done 1 Pier 1 load, 3 drops. I hate Pier 1! lol

thanks, thats ok then. i was just afraid i would only get like 40 bucks for this load which was a HUGE pain in the ###. like seriously i have never come close to working that hard out here. moving hundreds and hundreds of little boxes SUCKS!! never again please.

i went over more curbs than a blind 90 year old man yesterday trying to get around these places.

BNR they knew you were ready to commit LABOR after your home time, Pier 1 sucks, except the chick sweating is cool! Ha you crack me up, this is as vclose to working as you have come out here,:biggrin_2559::biggrin_25525:

Well I made it to my drop in Newberg Or. To the paper plant here, cut the seal back in, they unloaded me like they had to go pee, I pulled out I was headed over to the scale and the truck died:biggrin_2551:, I mean the gauges went dark, the wipers stopped in mid sweep and it just sat right there, so I called D and he says just jump it there shouldn't be a problem with it, so the yard jockey or whatever they called the trailer movers, went by and waved me on, only for me to say it won't move, so he says do you want me to try and jump you? Ah yes I guess, we try the jump and nothing not a budge nothing, so D asked me nicely ro stay here the night since I'm not under a load, I fired up the ROCK APU and it is keeping me warm, I'm so tired of these mechanical issues I keep having...:yes2557:
I bet there are a few other that feel the same way.:yes2557:

Still in Modesto...load doesn't deliver now until Tues @noon. Nothing going out today so I can't drop this here at the terminal and keep rolling. Oh well, as long as I'm home on Friday it's all good!

Had to get out of the truck for a little bit yesterday so walked up to the bowling alley about 1/4 mile away. Had a nice sit down meal and chilled for a bit.
