Sitting in charleston TN waiting for a load back west for home time. Just a short distance from Dalton terminal. Was in Austintown yesterday. That terminal lot was a mudhole. One dayrunner got stuck and had to get pulled out. DO NOT wear your good shoes there when it rains.

Vancouver drop yard then on to Lakewood tomorrow!

Had my first encounter (well first in the big rig) with the po po, poolice, 5-0 (other then at weigh stations) today in Weed. I had 1, yes 1, box to deliver to this store. Followed my GPS....550 feet before my turn onto their street (the business was approx another 1000 foot from the corner) a sign....NO TRUCKS! Crap! So I pull over to the side to weigh my options...ain't no turning around...figured 1500 foot to my receiver..go fer it!
So I drive the 550 feet, turn signal on, up to the stop sign comes 1 of Weeds finest as I'm making my left hand turn...######! He didn't even look my way or motion me to stop or anything so I go the rest of the way and stop against the curb and kick on the 4 ways. Was no getting into the customers lot. Glance into my mirror...yup, black and white pulling in behind me.
Reach in the back, grab my jacket, gloves, BOL for the 1 box, and meet him at the rear of the trailer. I'm sweating thinking I'm getting a ticket. All he asked is if I had a delivery, yup! yes sir I do and heres the BOL!

    Whew....!!!!

Good for you, I hope to stick around a while, I am getting tired of these marathon runs of 8-10 weeks out at a time but I have the rest of the year planned out, I agree with you you are way to young to be spending time out here, live your youth to its fullest ad then some, I did and don't regret it, there are a few things mom still doesn't know about her "Good Little Boy" and we will leave it at that, stay young znd single as long as you can, but when she comes along and you find yourself picking yourself up off the floor everytime she comes thru the door then it is time to keep that gal for good:yes2557:
I have no regrets from my wild and crazy single years, you would not believe some of the true happenings that occured in my life while I was single.:biggrin_25513:

Well... the time to move on and swim in another pond has come. You all drive safe and keep the shiny side up. I will be driving for an outfit that is putting me on a semi- dedicated regional run with more frequent home time. Its been fun see ya around!!!
