I'm in Conover, brought load up from Chattanooga, TN with me...Leaving trailer here and taking truck to Blue Ridge tomorrow for lube and windshield...

Talked to Heather today about my bonus numbers and such, I was surprised to hear my truck has never got less than 7.7mpg/mth since I've had it....Last month, over 8mpg and so far the same this month, even with all that idling I've done...

Dude, my truck only dreams of those numbers even with a rebuilt motor, I am always sitting at 5.4 MPG that sucks, I think they should change that fuel bonus thingy, oh well just something else for me to put in my box of why tos.... I think they should I've a bonus to us for hitting all of our assigned fuel stops and not just fueling anywhere, I did go off of that the other day when the Loves in Baxter Tn. Was 7 cents diffeernt then the rest of the stations in the area I am sire they won't see it that way but oh well..

I'm just inside the OK line, it seems like less miles and time goes by quicker when one is headed home to hometime, I had a dream the other night I was meeting with my future son-in-law about marrying my only daughter who will be 3 in Oct, I was sitting at a desk and I woke up when I was standing up with my hands on the desk and I was telling him in "man" language that if I ever hear of him raising a hand at her that I would see that it was the last time it happened LOL:biggrin_25523:

I think that conversation won't happen for at least 15 years but since I'm not going to let her date til she is 25 I have a while yet, and plus her being the only girl she has to hang around and take care of her old man!! When I get old:biggrin_2552::biggrin_25525:

Sayreville Terminal. Seems like I'm always missing AT. Stayed at the terminal instead of going home for the night. It would be to much having to say goodbye to the girls again after just being home 5 days ago. Heading down to Stone Mtn, GA again, 3rd time in two weeks. Just dropped a load of beer in Philadelphia yesterday, and what a pain that was. 140lbs over weight, but I knew I would burn that weight off way before the first scale, which was closed anyway. All I can say is thank GOD for a sliding fifth wheel or I would have been going back to Eden to get reloaded.

haha ya there's a lot of pine. like 5 varieties. plus some other trees that are similar to pine like fir and spruce. leafy trees aren't too common unless cared for. though there's a bunch of poplar and birch around....

but along the highway its just endless, treeless farmland

Just call Heather or Curtis when you need to make a stop not assigned, they will assign the new stop so you don't lose the bonus...Although, with that mpg, it won't matter. :biggrin_2559: Just hit the places you want the points from...If I were you and I was getting that gas mileage, I'd focus on where I wanted to stop, like all Love's or all Pilot's...Call and let them know you have no shot of hitting the bonus based on mpg and you would like to still somehow benefit from the points you can get favoring one place over another, I will bet they'll work with you...You can't hit if you don't swing, call and take a swing! :biggrin_25525:

just get points wherever they send you. they send us where its the most cost effective, and if you guys dont remember price on the sign does not indicate what WE actually pay! i know its a pain in the ### and i never get the bonus either, but its still good to check with them on stops, fuel is the biggest expense for the company.
i got free meals everywhere this week cashing in my points, i dont need to fuel at the same places. same with showers, i like to have shower points everwhere so i can have one wherever i might end up.
