A fix-it-ticket for the ABS light being out? Sorry, I would have schooled the po-po on that one!

    Anyway, home!

I got a call from Shirley a week or so ago asking if I wanted to come back and be a local driver, but I declined since I'd be low man and prolly get laid off every December and/or January. Too much stress for me. Also I didn't really want to drive those crappy trucks around.... I loved the KW for highway driving, but Shirley told me it would be LTL, not the drop/hooks I'd been doing.
As for job search, I've been to a first and second interview for a plumbing company here in OC. Got a call from them on Friday, said it's down to 2 people, and they want me to come in tomorrow for a drug screen and background check. I'm thinking the job is mine first since I cant see them paying for drug screen and background check for 2 people, but ya never know....

Good for you!!:yes2557: I wish you luck. Let us know how that goes. Sounds pretty good, I don't think they would throw their money away on a background and a pee test on two people, I can't believe W/S gave that Eric guy a shot, He is not what I would consider a prime canidate but it is all in the past now. Thanks. TD24

Is Eric the guy replacing (or trying to anyways) Shirley? If ya ask me, I think Dave made a big mistake, but oh well, I've moved along now and will probably leave WS in my rearview, although keeping up and still recommending them to people looking...but I feel things changing in the company and not for the better, IMHO, of course. I think Roxy leaving was one of the worst things that could have happened for the company.

Yes Eric, Is the one interview guy and Dave made a decision, He acted towards me as if he didn't care what happened to me or with me, I agree with the "Things are changing for the worse" I think the loss of Roxy was a big loss, Take Care. TD24

Looks like a nice place except I know 2 things, if I go there I'll eat too much food and lose too much money, I'll have to pass...

Sidenote: Love this XM radio!!!!!! Really makes the time fly by and it's hard to turn off at night!...I listen to the Patriot or comedy channels the most...I try listening to the trucker station but haven't them talking about anything of substance yet, I'll keep checking...If there is a better time than another to hear something, I'm all eyes...
