One of my worst days ever. Started fine. Delivered in GA. Next load was slow as molasses in January to load. Then I-85 closed at exit 92 until further notice. Two co-drivers dead after truck destroys bridge while one driver in sleeper got burned up in the ensuing fire. I get to drop in pitch black night and try every truck entrance without little driveway and get caught at one like a fish and have to
back the hell out. Out of hours, patience, and please as Dick said before he retired, that's Broker BS. I didn't hit nothing and I am tired, pissed and safe. Bring the phalanx in the morning. Do you want this load or not. Right now, I am not in the mood for anybodies SHIZzNIT!!!! BTW there were 3 of us is mini caravan on 85N for a lil bit. It felt good. But that's just me.

    JimDriv3r and American-Trucker Thank this.

Harrisonburg, VA. Headed to Jersey. Finally made the delivery this morning. I showed up after I talked to him 15 minutes afterward. He showed up 2 two hours later. I guess he was paying me back. I needed some more sleep anyway. He only made me stronger.

Wow, it's very unfortunate what happened to those two drivers......

Headed to MT again! :biggrin_25514: I don't think that I've seen anything really interesting lately, but I am still enjoying being out here on the road and enjoying the cooler weather here in Spokane. Plus, I'm getting sleepy :biggrin_25518:. Just don't wake me up yet.....another five minutes of sleep after the sunrise will do! :biggrin_25520:

one of the many reasons i wont ever team. i dont trust my life with anyone.

in green river, had a flat but could drive they actually have a 24 hour shop out here. seems it was the stupid valve stem so hopefully it wont be flat when i wake up. 6 drops in the mountains i have to somehow make by 4pm then i can go home.
