Sitting in Iowa, trying to want to bother driving when we have until Tuesday to get to the Bay Area (CA). Almost makes you hate holidays.

Made it home! Wasn't easy, they gave me a 755 mile 6 stopper in Myrtle MS on Thursday afternoon. 50% was on secondary roads and most docks at the end of a goat path. Final stop was Conover. The inter axle differential lock doesn't work on this truck (along with a long list of other things) so I got stuck at nearly every stop. Had the cops escort me once after getting stuck in an intersection in podunckville on a hill. Had to lay down chains to get out of one of those sump type docks. Put some ruts in a gravel parking lot. Lots of fun. I turned the truck in and will refuse to take it back on the road, I draw the line at safety and this truck isn't safe.

 

HOME!!! Detroit, MI, until I deliver Tuesday... Then, who knows...
