In MO, about 2 hrs from delivery tomorrow. But a wierd thing happened today, so Im gonna try and tell it the best I can.

I was in the First Gulf War 90-91, anyway there was a girl from MO who starting writing to me (adopt a soldier type thing). Her dad had the same First and Last name as me and was a SGT(Seargent) in MO State Police, and I was a SGT in the Air Force. So on to today, I get pulled over by a Sheriff in MO just to do a Level 3 inspection, when he looks at my license he says "Dale BXXXX, huh" Im thinking oh crap he knows me or Im famous like AT. Well, then he asked me if I had any family around here and I told my family was from this part of the country but I didnt know any of them. The he says that a good friend of his is retired from the MO State Police and his name is Sgt. Dale BXXXX. Thats when it all clicked and I said oh yea, his daughter used to write to me when I was in the Gulf War. What a small world huh. Anyway got a clean inspection, we chatted for a bit, and off I went. I just couldnt believe that out of all the truck on the road, and me being 2500 miles from home I get pulled over by randon on a secondary road and run into someone who knows that girl. Anyway that was my excitement for the day. Be safe.

 

Billings..hopefully they'll take their stuff off first thing in the am so I can get to Helena and hopefully get something going home.

 

Kinda makes ya realize just how small this world really is! Air Force huh? So was I.
