    flagstaff, az

got my load this (late)morning in chandler, az.. secured it, and then at 1pm when I'm about to go they say I have to tarp it too.. great time to be tarping!

finally got out of there.. at like, 3pm.. so tired and heat exhausted.. sunburned.. and started the 7000 foot clime towards flagstaff. I just wanted to get to the pilot there for a shower.. and shutdown till early am. But about 45 from my destination, I thought I'd pull over and let the truck cool a bit.. the idle timer shut the truck down after 5 min, and then I couldn't get it to start up again.

called shop.. they said call some road service guy. so I call.. meanwhile I'm checking for loose cables and stuff.. trying to turn her over, but still nothing.. Finally the mech comes out and presto my truck starts no problems.... wonderful. waste of a service call... (though odly, now my rpm gauge is off by like 700 rpms... wtf?? engine sounds fine, its just the gauge..)

I made it to the PIlot in flagstaff (bellemont actually).. clean again, and ready for a good sleep.. so I'll be fresh for the drive up 89 into UT tomorrow.

    ZZZzzzzzz

Ran into AXE earlier, and Mooniac was here with me while waiting for time to fly by here in Missoula. It was nice to meet both of ya! Be sure to avoid the inattentative crazies out on the road later on today!

In Missoula for just a few more minutes. On my way, via AXE, to Lakewood to pick up my truck and get this show on the road. Been a long two weeks here but very informational. AXE just came in to the lounge to get me so it's time to "rock and roll".
