    Warren, MI. Sitting at art van furniture. Delivery scheduled for 6 am local but im already at my door. No clue how long they will take... Got rid of old 1688 and picked up 1790 to take it to missoula to be sold. Then I'll probably snag one of the new knight volvos as long as it doesn't have the meritor trans in it also. These things are dangerous... Get me back in an eaton fuller where I belong.

    had both and there doesnt seem to be a difference??

    im sure somebody will come on and tell me all there worldly knowledge...but the eaton i had and the merritor i have seem just the same...

    You're lucky then. Either you had a bad eaton or a good meritor. This one has cracked my knuckles on the dash to the point I have cuts on my hands...

    the merritor i have is nice and "tight":biggrin_255:....the eaton on 1661 was sooo "loose":biggrin_25513: that i had to turn the gearshift round so the ratio switch thingy was toward the sleeper just so i could get it into 9th gear....lol

    Dulles, Va. Belfort Furniture is my kind of receiver.... 20 minutes to unload 107 pieces... They had 6 guy's helping bust it out fast!

    Conover say's to deadhead back to terminal, 390 MT miles to go....
