WS drivers whats your 20

Here in Helena, MT getting some new air hoses put on my truck tomorrow morning. Hopefully they will install a CB radio and a newer stereo too.

Hey TruckerD, hope all is well with you and your truck. I think you got the newest one out of all of us. N8 got a nice volvo with an apu. I got a '05 freightliner(694000+miles) that runs ok...but no fuel bonuses for me as the mpg sucks on this thing(lower cruise speeds, new air/fuel filter didnt help neither). It hasnt givin me any major probs though. anyways, just wanted to drop a line. take care stay safe.

 

off topic but anyone know what size tv i can fit on the shelf in the freightliner, i forgot to measure it before i left my truck

Dont know what year FL you have but my 2005 FL tv shelf measurements are 15 1/2" W - 16 1/2" H - 21 1/2" D

What kinda tv are you looking to buy? Flat or standard size?

I use my computer to watch movies personally. But if I was to get a tv, I would buy a wall mount from walmart, then hang the tv(flat) off the wall. You would have to raise your top bunk so you can use the bunk stopper(for lack of better word) off the wall.

Just a suggestion.

 

Oh yea, im still in Helena, MT leaving tomorrow morning. I have the say the shop did a very good job on my truck! Im very happy. They fixed things like an exhaust leak that I wasnt aware of, and put a new surface on my 5th wheel. A new cb radio and cd player was added as well. Took them all day to get Betsy back in shape. Best shop I have delt with so far.

 

speaking of trucks i was also lucky enough to get a volvo with apu, so i feel bad somewhat complaining. it was awesome when i was stuuk in az for 2 days...but the heat is useless because the manul start doesnt seem to work. only ever works in auto mode. is there some trick to keeping it running, is mine just broken, or am i a dumb ###...or any combination of the above haha?

and even if im screwed why does it only blow warm air when its running? low coolant maybe?

Parked at Vancouver waiting for 10. Then on to Lakewood and SFS before my lube is due. I takes a few days for the paperwork to catch up to Missoula and the 5PM qualcoms to stop.
