Yep, sure did. Took 'em all with my iphone. Don't update it often enough, though.

btw I go to Hickory Tuesday to get my Drug & Lift test done. They accepted my D.O.T. Physical as it was just done 4/27/2012. The Safety guy from Missoula called me Wednesday and asked all the "Have You" questions.

Any idea how long after you do the "Lift Test" before they let you know if you passed that or not?

    Thanks

If you fail the lift test, I'm sure you'd know. But if you're uncertain, the clinician administering the test would probably tell you. It's nothing to worry about.

Not really worried about it much. Been off the road and in an office for a year, so I am sure I will be a little weak and rusty.

    Thanks

I can count on my fingers how many times in 14 months i slept anywhere other then a Pilot/ Flying J, TA, Petro, Loves, Wilco. Only slept at 1 rest area, and 3-4 customers

Yeah, but you hated the LTL and probably did everything you could to avoid it. I happen to love running that stuff, and to be honest those nights I slept out in the middle of nowhere have been some of the best I ever spent in the truck. You don't have to worry about whether the truck next to you is a weedburner, has an obnoxious reefer, or whether your hood and mirrors will still be there in the morning. You can leave the vents open because the breeze isn't blowing across urine-soaked pavement, and you can even leave the CB on. Me, I actually get tired of parking at truckstops.

Personally, I prefer to have amenities near by. Never know when you may need something. :biggrin_2552:

Im sure at times I may need to park elsewhere, but when possible I will chose a truckstop if its practical to do so as far as miles go.
