WS drivers whats your 20

I'm here at Pepsi today....got lucky. Dock appt was 1130, and I bumped the dock by noon local. I think they've put the first pallets on, but it's been quiet for the last few minutes. This has got to be one of the slowest places I've ever been loaded. I think the product is still coming off the line as they load it. By the way, where was your pepsi load going to? I had one for today, but they couldn't get me a run back to SFS from Phoenix, so they kept me and my counterpart in Phoenix running local stuff today...

 

haha my experience was the exact opposite. i pull up to the gate and theres this fat **** tells me to back out go park and come back later. i tell him i have an appointment and dont move and he says the guy who im supposed to talk to isnt there and go park on the street and wait. im like why cant i wait here if no trucks can come in anyway?? so as im leaving i see some other guy and talk to him, hes the right guy. but he says the same thing go park on the street and he'll call me. so i parked in a fire lane like 2 streets over because theres no actual places to park on that street. 2 and a half to 3 hours later i got in a dock. but the guy loading me was cool and very very fast. and in the middle of that i did have to go change trailers...but i was past my 14 so i stopped caring about being in a hurry.

it went to vegas im outside here now. this is a super nice place to deliver. decently quick, although wait at the gate was long. like 40 minutes, good thing i always show up way early. easy to get to its right off 215, huge roads, you can park nearby, big lot. its a pretty new building in an open area so its very truck friendly.

im bummed it was only 300 miles, but with the weather i cant complain.

*and like a lot of pop places they got a vending machine at the gate with 25 cent bottles.

i guess im sitting in vegas tonight i never got another load. ive been calling friends in LA trying to make someone come down so i can have a ride and someone to go gamble with even though ive been up since 230 this morning. lmao.

 

Light snow and <20 degrees...Sucks...

 

Well shucks, I ran my 7 hours I had available and only got 340 miles, I am supposed to be in KC Mo. @ 13:26 Thursday!!! I don't think that is happening.. I will make it on Friday, I'm. In Fruita Co. And will head out early and run hard with 11 total tomorrow. Take Care. Td24

 

Missoula at the terminal. Getting up at 5 to make my 4 deliveries on Wednesday, Anaconda, Bozeman, Butte, ending in Ennis.

 

Sitting@ a rest stop with 5 hours to go, then they have me pre-planned on a brokered load for Sat. Headed to South Carolina then who knows where. Thanks.

Roads actually weren't that bad...dang fog kicked my butt though! Hopefully this run south will be good!
