WS drivers whats your 20

That's an awesome run there!...I'm hoping for something like that out of PHX...

 

Well, I was sitting at the Black Bear Diner in Goodyear with a friend of mine when the phone rings, "This is dispatch we have a load for you tomorrow" I asked where it was going, "Dispatch says Gt Falls MT." I asked when is it due? "The Fof" I said when? She said "The Forth Tuesday next week," I said oh ok, "You need to keep it from freezing" I think to myself, Ha, it is going to Gt Falls in a blizzard, I say OK I will do my best, I get back to truck read the assignment and it says I am picking up from Coka Cola in Tempe, I assume I am supposed to take a MT trailer thru and wait for them to load it??? I have a brokers number I will call in the morning. I will see you guys out there, I have truely enjoyed my hometime and spending time with my family, I love it when it all falls together like it did, We did have to cancel the air trip to see my brother and have Santa returned but it all worked out and we had a great Christmas, Be Safe and Happy New Year.

 

Just keep the truck running at all times and it won't freeze.

thats not so bad, they gave me this nonsense up to minnesota. through i70 where its snowing like crazy in the mountains, and basically everywhere on the way past the fun in the rockies is getting a ton of snow too. and the load is 11k haha.

with a broker load its pretty much always a live load i think...

 

HWP Good to talk to you this evening, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet up, I got intangled in the steam cleaners cord and couldn't get out of it till I got all that I was told to clean cleaned... LOL You know the story, With 8 kids.

P.S. I checked the road conditions from here up to SLC and they look good all the way up, I think I'm going to sit over on my load till Sat. and then head up to see if I can deliver it early on Monday and get the usual Flour load back out of there. Take Care. TD24

I had one of those when I was headed down out of SLC on my way to HT last week, It was about the same thing, I was hit with a gust of wind and WOW rode it out.

Well so I went this morning to the yard and got a trailer and made it to Coke with a few minutes to spare and then I waited and waited I called Missoula and told them I was waiting and they said there was nothing they can do about it, I wish they could charge someone for my time, It must not be as valuable to them as it is to me, I'm back home idling my truck up the street in an undeveloped area close to my home with the doors locked. I will roll out in the morning headed to Great Falls Mt. Happy New Year to all hope to meet many of you out there soon. TD24
