    you can do the pete unibilt rings if it was really an issue and you found the right truck, I’m 6’ and I still have the small hole

    Very true. I've seen those ring kits for flat tops and the old style aero sleepers.

    But if I had a choice, I'd rather spend a little less on converting a double bunk to an aero flat with the conversion kit sold here:

    They even make a flat top conversion for the 86"
