    and have been for decades . . . . .
    They fall apart faster then an old Galaxy in a Big Truck.:yes2557:
    The NS 300 work like the 3300 HP,Gen Lee and Galaxy 33'
    same radio basically.

    Yup, I know of two that have been run for ten years + in trucks pulling gravel trains in michigan so they can't be all bad. One is the best sounding radio I have ever heard and the other is a close second.

    Funny thing is I was under the impression a Northstar was really just a re-badged Galaxy.

    Basically the same but with corners cut during production to lower the cost to meet the importers needs.

    That was the only deal with Northstar's,if you got a good one,you got a good one.But the majority were problematic within just a few months.

    Yes NorthStar's are "generic" Galaxy's

    Again,the early models Galaxy like the 33,rattled themselves to pieces
    in big trucks because of the thin boards used in that era.

    Northstar 3000 ? Why not just get a Galaxy ..... FM ? on a CB radio ? :biggrin_25512: Sorry but useless ....
